Code of Conduct
We are committed to listening to our Indigenous partners in education as we work to decolonize our school environment. In collaboration with the IEC, we have developed a code of conduct that reflects our shared values of inclusion and fairness.
Please take a moment to review this document with your child. Your support is appreciated as we continue building a respectful and inclusive school community.
Hot Lunch Program
How to Ensure Your Child Has a Hot Lunch at MCES
We will be using our online ordering system for all hot lunch orders. This helps to ensure accuracy with the orders and to make the process as smooth as possible for everyone.
Each year, you must create a new account for your child as if they’ve never had an account before.
Here’s how to get started …
- Go to mces.hotlunches.net
- Click on “Register”
- Enter Access Code: MCEHL
- Please use your Email address for your Username & Password
- Complete the rest of the registration form. (Including your email address will ensure you receive reminder emails about hot lunch order deadlines, and your child’s hot lunch order for the upcoming week.)
- Click the “Register Now” button at the bottom
- Follow the instructions to add each child in your family who attends Merritt Central Elementary.
- Once your child(ren) are registered, click on “Orders”
Method of Payment:
– E-transfers – send to MCschool@365.sd58.bc.ca (no password required)
– Cheques payable to “Merritt Central Elementary”
– Cash at the office
